Spolia Coasters (Set of 2)
Spolia (Latin: “spoils”): re-purposed stone reused for new constructions.
Inspired by the ancient palimpsest cities of antiquity, these coasters are made by taking broken fragments on concrete coasters and casting them in resin, forming a functional whole again. The fragility of the broken form becomes its most defining feature.
Each coaster pair is unique and handmade-to-order in concrete and resin.
Offered in Square or Round shape.
Square Dimensions: 4” L x 4” W x .5” H
Round Dimensions: 4” Dia. x .5” H
