BRCJ Designs is a design firm based in Los Angeles, USA offering services in the fields of architecture, interior design, furniture and product design. Founded by Benjamin R. C. Jones, AIA, ASID, BRCJ Designs fuses a contemporary design approach with a revision of traditional practices and construction methods. Our methodology combines new ways of thinking, critical design theory, and machine technology with vernacular typologies, a contextual approach, and heritage craftsmanship to create buildings, environments, furniture, and objects that converge in the interstitial space between the old and the new.
Ben Jones is a licensed architect in the State of California, interior designer, and product designer.
Ben received his B.Arch from the Cornell University School of Architecture. He has worked at a variety of global architecture firms before starting his own practice, including Robert A.M. Stern Architects in New York City, Gensler in Los Angeles, and 10 Design in Shanghai. His experience working at these firms focused mostly on large-scale cultural institutions and high-end residential towers, with forays into single family homes, commercial office buildings, and gaming and casino ventures. After years of working on large scale projects, he now prefers working at a smaller, more humanistic scale. BRCJ Designs’ current projects include single family homes and a variety of custom furniture and product design commissions.
